What flea treatment do you use?

Ive been using a cheap spot from pets at home called beaphar.. it worked at first but now doesnt really work.
Shes got a flea collar on for the moment but its stinky and not overly practical...

Ive been looking at the more expensive types...ie.frontline, advocate, etc... but Im not really sure which one to go for....

Anyone got any advice on which ones work best for them....?

Thanks

We use Program Plus tablets one a month - our cats get the injection every 6 months and have happy cats and dogs

I use Frontline on 4 of my dogs and Advocate on the 5th as he has a really bad flea allergy when he gets them.
I've had no prob with either of them.

I usually use frontline as it's just easier than going through getting them all seen and weighed for advocate or other prescription treatments.

My in-laws swear by Frontline drops but we use garlic because we dont like the thought of all those chemicals.

I use Billy No Mates, a herbal supplement which is sprinkled on to their food.

Dogs love it and no chemicals

Without being preachy, the only treatment i will never , ever use again is Frontline. The company that runs/owns frontline works with PLRS and has done some horrific live experiments on dogs...

Pretty horrible stuff.
