Sorry I missed this and I hope that Beau will show an improvement after seeing the Vet again.

Big hugs to him from me and doggy kisses from Loki.

Healing thoughts winging his way.

How is Beau today, Jessica?

I'm hoping for an improvement, no matter how small.

*Hugs* x0x

He has improved!! After the steroid injection the lumps on his face went down a lot and stopped bleeding so the vet is fairly certain its an allergic reaction. They're still waiting for results from the lab to see if the samples grew anything, but if not we're having a whole load of blood tests done to try to find out what on earth is causing it so we can avoid it in the future!

Bad news.

Beau got steadily worse over the weekend. Its not as bad as it has been, but he is a very unhappy dog.

Took him to the vets, and by a good coincidence, they had just got the results of the swabs - he has the equivilent of MRSA. Very serious Its going to take a long time to get him over it.
