It's a bacterial infection like MRSA but is a bit easier to treat because MRSA is resistant to most antibiotics.
It causes skin infections in humans and is found in soil and water. When you smell that horrible smell in stale flower water that is often down to Pseudomonas.

Pleased to hear that Beau seems to be on the road to recovery. Hope he continues to get better, quickly.

Beau is looking better. I took him to the vet for a check up and they are pleased. The vet named the infection, it was something like Sudonitis but i cant remember Definately started with an S though!!

He is still sore and swollen on his chin, but his muzzle is so much better. Flaky and he's lost most of the hair, but no longer bleeding and "pus-ey". He is definately going the right way, fingers crossed we can get the infection OUT of his system and it doesnt come back. Thats the concern at the moment. But he's a much happier boy!
That's the best Christmas present, isn't it? Fabulous news

OMG think this is what Dori has she has been to the vets today and she gave us steroids and antibiotic's. I have put up a thread with pic's of Dori.
