The general condition can change rapidly, have they ruled out any type of bugs, as they are more prone to them with poor hearts, it has a bigger impact on their system.
Have they said, what is the problem with his heart?
Is there any vet that specialises at the practice re hearts? The 1 b was under at ours was, so any thing heart related she saw him.
Please remember we are all behind you both.

Well at least he's being monitored quite closely, so take some comfort in that. Let's hope that scan is done pretty soon. More hugs coming his way, poor little man.

Oh how awful that you've now got to put up with him being like this even longer, let alone the fact that he's now got KC. At least he's on some new medication now and that might make him a lot better, got everything crossed for you both. It's the same down my way, my vets told me the other week it's rife down here, and YET, as we were all sitting there in the waiting room, somebody spotted a big lump of "gob" on the rug and had to ask the receptionist to come and clean it up!!!! Isn't that pretty shocking, when she'd just told us all that about kennel cough!!! This is not a back street surgery either, it's a blooming RCVS Hospital!!! Anyway, more hugs coming your way from us that he at least improves before next tuesday so you can have that scan done.xx
