If the dog was scanned before xmas, and still no pups, seems something funny going on here....

Ok all, I unfortunately have some very sad news for you all. My friend took her dog to the vet and she has lost all the pups. Not only that but she has ruptured inside and has had to have a full hysterectomy. The vet kept her in overnight as all her protein levels are completely off. She is a very poorly dog and may have long term health problems because of this.

I really feel for my friend as she was taking a pregnant bitch in to stop her being returned to rescue. It seems the original dates were accurate after all....

I know some of you will argue she should have been to the vets earlier but hindsight is a marvellous thing and I ask you all to send healing thoughts out to Cassie. there are also some very sad children to think of too......

Hope the bitch recovers. I had a rescue cat that was exactly the same, all her kittens had died inside.
