thanks everyone for your concern and advice! lips still swollen and still hurting but i might try the ice techinique as suggested or even put the cream i have for my other skin reactions on my lips (problem is it says not to put it anywhere near your mouth hmm worth the risk?)

It sounds like a citrus allergy, do you have any anti histamines you can take?

yeah i have alot due to different allegies will take the one i use for fruit juice (blackcurrant mainly ) if nothing gets better but its been ages since (feels like it anyway!!)
