Loki (Utonagan) on holiday in Ireland

Despite my concern and many tears , Loki was brilliant and completely calm on the ferry. I was so proud. He had a lovely holiday and we had loads of poeple stopping us to ask about him - even to the extent on stopping on junctions.

We took our speed boat and he went out on that in his red life jacket - he loved it!

We stayed in Kilrush but used the boat at Mount Shannon - about an hour and a half away.

My parents have a house there so we used that. It's the first time we've gone over as a family because I've been worried about Loki and Carys but it was brilliant.

Kilrush is in County Clare and it's a wonderful base. The seaside resort of Kilkee is down the road and the Cliffs of Moher are close too.

Sounds idyllic. The people who own the cottage we go to in Derbyshire always go to Ireland...they said it isvery dog friendly? Did you find that?

He is very striking. I can see why you get stopped and asked about him often.
