Sanguine Saturday 3rd September 2022

So did a cross word yesterday and one word was Sanguine hence the use in the title.

Went to Bingo really enjoyed it not a win however got a free gift which I did not expect the whole hall did Pantene shampoo and a conditioner not my or my friends usual however looked it up and see they are worth approx. £4 each we decided to donate to food bank. Giving back; good deeds, good thoughts, good actions.

Brenda have a great day hope your conclusions eventually sort themselves out. Like the look of the breed of your new "charge" so how many are you looking at starting to train now?

Sue Have a good day. Are you excited having your third granddaughter over..............

Lynn Sounds like your life is full with Freya and living life of freedom with Gorden in his retirement. Sure the car will be snapped up.

Griff I think its the perception of "sports" cars that put people off or on.

Chris Not long till you are "slabbed" good luck. How is your daughter doing?

Right got a few Christmas meals organised one with current work friends Sunday 18th Dec 5pm one with other friends (just deciding the final date)
Also going to a treasure hunt on Sunday 18th Sept never been on one looking forward to it, also a "cash free" casino night for the local scout hut next Saturday

Morning Kazz and anyone else coming on. Had to look that up Kazz and yep it can mean two or three things. I prefer the first meaning.bg!! Well have just done the first proper training session with pup. And it went very well. The gentleman being elderly bless is worried about treading on pup, and yep he did clip his front foot but pup didn't seem to make a fuss and just carried on walking. Will be seeing him again next week. As to how many more I will get to train it depends if people phone me. Have a good day all.

Morning all
Had a morning of panic, parents are headed to my great auntie's ( grandad sister) booked on a coach to take them from the airport part way and then family are collecting and taking them the rest of the way...... flight incredibly delayed and I was worried they wouldn't be able to make the coach......all good they made it!!! Then I was informed that a member of family who is not welcome would appear to be heading to my great auntie's place......she has repeatedly been told stay away due to the hurt she has caused...... it's my auntie's 90th birthday, she is getting frailer and I know this vile woman is going to turn up and taint what could be the ladies last birthday. I know the family will make sure their mum is o.k but I know how protective my mum is and I have just had to say "please don't get locked up in Ireland" I can't be bothered with having to get planes coaches etc to come visit you. I offered last week to go and see the other part of the family and make it quite plain they are not welcome and not wanted but all the other family said they would stay away... obviously not! Thankfully they don't know where the party is as even if my aunty had said to the one lady who is welcome that there was a get together.....the location has changed due to torrential rain!

Good afternoon all

A good day weather-wise, not too hot, not too cold and the sun is out

Just our same old, same old so not much to chat about

Rosie isn't too well though. Gagging for a few hours this morning and sleepy. A bit off her food, though she did eat her breakfast eventually, but isn't telling me it's dinner time yet which is unusual. Keeping a very keen eye on her

Karen isn't doing too well Kaz. She's struggling to get around now and is in quite a lot of pain for quite a lot of the time

Afternoon Kazz and everyone.
Nice day again and warm.
Have made a note to self never to shop on a Saturday again, what a nightmare people just walking backwards, sideways and every which way without looking I got a big whack in my arm from some guy moving away from a shelf without looking.

Lots of enquiries about the car but nothing concrete, on woman when can I come to look Gorden told her not heard another word.
Oooh that annoys me.

Sounds like you had a good time Kazz and more to come.
brenda glad the training went well, I saw a Podenco go past our gate the other week keep looking for it but not seen it again.
griff hope everything else goes well for mum and dad griff.
Sorry to hear your Daughter is still suffering Chris.
Hoping Rosie picks up.

Chris sounds like Rosie might have the start of kennel cough? Tracheobronchitis. If it is after seeing a vet who confirms it you can give: adult benylin. The dosage is: Dosage (according to vet) is 2mg per kg body weight Adult Benylin for Chesty Coughs Non Drowsy

Kazz this is the small Podengo, smooth haired but I suppose his coat could change as he gets older. He is 14 weeks old. The owner saw the breed when he was in Portugal and liked the breed. He has always had border collies so a bit different.

I doubt it Brenda. She's had these bouts before and the vet couldn't find anything. Best guess is that it's just her 'odd' digestive system at play. For the most part, giving her four meals a day rather than two works, but every now and then we get this.

She is now a lot brighter though and was begging for her dinner eventually and then wanted her third meal before it was due.

She's keeping it all down so I'm guessing this bout is over and done with
