Find a breed

I think this could be a good friendly debate if people do not get personal

Can anyone find a breed that is reg under the kennel club, that has not been changed (physically)?

Most primitive dogs ie those dating antiquity have remain unchanged.
Eg: Basenji (sp?) Alaskan Malamute, Akita, Komondor, Bernese Mountain dog... There are loads.

No, I very much doubt that any breed has remained at a standstill, whether a Kennel Club recognised breed or not.

Hi nursey, then do you believe this is the correct, to have breeds that are totally alien to how they used to appear?

To my none expert eye some of the sighthounds - pharoahs and sloughis seem to be the same as they were in early depictions ..... but probably if they were my breed I would see differences.

How different are otterhounds?
