So Annoying

Got back from a long weekend away on Tuesday and popped into M&S to get some bits and bobs as the cupboards were bare!
Picked up a chicken and thought that would be OK for T tonight. Got it out of the fridge this evening and the sell by date was Tuesday (the day I bought it )
I know I should have looked at the date and I usually do but I was tired and wanted to get home. But all the same what a nuisance - I expect better of Marks
Still Sydney is smiling because I am cooking it for her tea now instead

So it will be takeaway something tonight

Ohhhhh don't, we haven't eaten yet. Do you think the pot of chile will keep and we can have a takeaway?

Hope Sydney enjoys her ' not chicken, M&S chicken'

I've been caught out like that before at M & S, so now I dig around at the back of the stack! Trouble is I never know what date it IS today, so I always have to ask somebody
