I think gsd's would probably be 12 years?, but I have had 3 who have lasted up to the grand old age of 16. Sadly, Cassie didn't live up to my record as she was only 11 1/2 and had cancer, BUT, funnilly enough, she was the only dog I kept the most active all of her life, so that's so*ds law isn't it! I don't think my current gsd will make old bones due to his life on steroids, but I'm doing my best, so we'll see!

Boxers 10 is average, but I know people who have never got them over the age of 9, yet some go till 13....

I think if you get to 10 you are doing well.

A friend of mine has just lost her two mongrels.... 6 mths apart...one was 18, the other 19. both fit as a fiddle till the end

One was a Heinz 57 the other a BC x Rotti

Spanish Water Dog - 12 to 14 years. My first was PTS at 12 after going deaf and then blind and she couldn't cope with losing both senses so close together. Her daughter Lydia is still going strong at 14 years young!!

Pomeranian's, not sure what their life expectancy is but ours have mainly lived between 14 and 16 years.

Siberian Huskies usually live for between 12 and 15 yrs, although I have come across one or two who have made it to 18.
Of course, it helps if old dogs have a hobby to keep them interested in life:

My GSDs on average made it to 14 one or two till they were very near 15. Think most would have made 15 if I had not felt it kinder to intervene in the dying process as I have had to do with every single dog I have ever owned. Does make we wonder if I should let them go no for longer when they are on the downward slope, don't know, have always done as I think best but just may be.

For Airedale's it's 12 years, which is a bit as our rescue boy Harry is now over 11, but we weighed this up before we rescued him last year. He's good and healthy so far, and we do know of several Airedale's still going strong at 13 and 14
