Worried about my son!

Just need to get this off my mind.

Why is it when my 10yr old has been off school for 3 weeks ill with asthma and other things, he goes to his dads and I enquire after his well being he is fine?

When he was picked up yest I was asked if it would be ok to take him into Brum to see the lights and go on the big wheel, I did say that due to the weather and temp it was severly unwise! Within an hour I received a phonecall re what drugs he could have as he had a horrible earache. Yet as soon as I ask if he is ok its like I'm the biggest pain out.

Background to it last time he was like that and was "fine" over the weekend he collapsed on the Monday and had to be taken into hospital.

Whilst I would never ever stop my 3 seeing their dad, it is vital to their wellbeing. Please stop him seeing me as being difficult, I am not trying to spoil the fun but sometimes they need to stay in the warm and be looked after just like I have for the last 3 weeks, boring as it is!

Phew thanks guys I feel better already.

Oh I do feel for you and son, having asthma myself.
Sorry your ex doesn't seem to have got to grips with it
Enjoy the duvet day xx

Hi,

Ali, you'll enjoy the duvet and DVD time when he gets back. I have lots of those with Oscar and suaully we end up UNDER the dogs (must be a duvet thing!!).

My ex is the same in that respect. For some reason he HAS to take Oscar out. I've come to the conclusion that he's either trying to make an impression on Oscar in some way or he just doesn't know how to deal with him at his house.

I would say that everyone is different but it would seem that most ex's are the same in that respect.

Laura xx

Awww a duvet and dvd day, how lovely, you sound a great Mum.
Bit like me and my Charlie, we do Mum/Son stuff together he'd never admit to his mates, but even now he's a teen we still do lunch lol
Have a lovely time when he gets back xxx
