Alabama Rot: Its a growing Issue

We have seen several more cases of Alabame Rot in Cheshire, it seems like the disease is a growing issue across the country. We advise you all to keep an eye on your dogs body, and be attentive about the rise of this painful disease.

Interesting, thank you.
My dog came in this morning with something suspicious on her leg. I grabbed her thinking uh oh whats that. When I looked it was a lump of poo, origin unknown!
Seriously though we must all be vigilant.

Looking at the map of the distribution area of cases, I would say this correlates with the use of the dreaded biosolids - human sewage sludge spread on arable fields.

it would be interesting to know if the dogs affected go on the same walk each day...that way it might indicate if it is a specific sort of land that is causing the issue...the same a seasonal canine illness and woodland
i check mine over every day and i did try washing their legs down after each walk but they weren't too happy with that and just wanted to wrestle each other

It certainly is worrying there have been a number of dog deaths around here from AR and it seems to have been dogs walking mainly in woodland areas .
