There was a film that I can't for the life of me remember the name of it and it was shown EVERY year when I was a kid. It was a black and white film and was a bit like scrooge storyline where he's taken back in time as if he didn't exist and it had James Stewart in it. The one thing that I do remember is that Clarence (the angel) says at the end, that every time you hear a bell ring, an angel just got its wings... I LOVE that film... just wish I knew what it was called

Other fav's are peter pan (the original disney), wizard of oz, you know the kiddy films that they usually put on the tele that have absolutely no resemblance to christmas whatsoever, but they're always on each year. That sort of gives me a christmassy feeling when I watch them..

Muppet christmas is fantastic, and I can't remember miracle on 34th st.. which was that one again wolfie?

Harvey (with James Stewart )
Any animal tear-jerker (Incredible Journey, Greyfriar's Bobby etc.)
Any old-style musical, eg Brigadoon, Carousel
Epics - Ben Hur, Samson & Delilah ...
Robin Hood films, Captain Blood, etc.
Jason and the Argonauts - that kind of thing
Fantasy/SciFi films

Oooooh could go on all night.
