carrots

Hello all

just a quickie....(i wish-opps how rude!!) lol

Is it ok to give otis carrots? he loves them but i dont want to give him them if he is not allowed.

most veg is good for them Jodie (Otis is looking mighty handsome by the way ) i think there is one or two veg they cant have but i know carrots is ok

Jazzy hates them, Milo has only had them once but that doesnt count cos he is a canine dustbin

thanks Em- i have to say milo is gorgeous too. i saw his updated pic today and i want him!!!

god, otis is also a dustbin!! he will try and eat anything thats why i wanted to check on the carrot thing. is it ok to give him one a day or is that too much? I am conscious of him getting too fat because we are also giving him tiny bits of cheese to train him at the moment.

my lot love raw carrot........

my boys will eat any veg going including sprouts raw or cooked but the after smell is not to my liking but hey if they enjoy give them

Luna sometimes gets a whole carrot.. She tends to chew it into small bits and then leave it...

Blackie gets a one every other day, it does two jobs, firstly they can't digest it so it goes straight through them so you can check how the bowels are (comes out orange) secondly it helps to clean there teeth.

The only problem I have is that Blackie won't have it if it hasn't been topped and tailed!
