Hi Otis I agree with Annie and Brierley about the ignoring, and as with all dog training don't expect instant success, these things take time and you have to be consistent.

Also extra training may help, things like 'sit and stay' need to be used throughout the day at every opportunity to reinforce what has been learn and to get Otis used to obeying your commands when he obeys treat occasionally and praise always .
