I think it would be interesting to see, but it would not make me shop around.
I trust my vets to me that is more important.

At my vets (Louie's)

It is:
£12 first jab
£22 second
£21 Kennel cough
£10 microchip
£22 checkup for dogs
£5 checkup for hamsters
£8 hamster PTS
£12 anibiotics + checkup - hamster
£32 canaural + checkup - dog
and when I rang up when Louie was 19Kg to see how much it would be for a neuter it was £105.
It will have gone up now he is 25Kg.

With Louie we use my family's vet - everyone on my Dad's side has took their animals there.

At Adie's vet (Benjie and Bunnies)
£60 for treatment of E.C
£38 - claw cutting - dog (of which the claw fell off she didn't even cut it and it was just the one! )

Sadie goes to PDSA - well she would if there was anything wrong with her, ever!

For my brother's GF's Yorkie to have injections it was £65 altogether including chipping.

I agree thats a really important point, my vet Lynn is so easy to talk to and indeed to challenge on recommendations and prices but the thread may supply some evidence for that discussion as personally I have no idea of prices across the country.

Ok Guys will get it set up

Btw, I don't think it will make us change our vets either, but if we find they are considerably more expensive than others we could mention it to them... if enough people do it they might take note and investigate why their prices are higher.
