We've bought a new TV!

Exciting, hey?

We weren't really looking for one, but Mrs.S just noticed it when she was shopping in our local Tesco, because it was labelled £100 off!

It has a 19" LCD screen, built-in DVD player, an iPod dock, Freeview, and it's HD ready.

The picture is nice and crisp and the colour is excellent, plus (although you can change them) the stations appear in a sensible order (eg BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, C4, then Freeview channels starting with C5 (we can't get C5 any other way, up here). When Mrs.S has finished watching a film on More4, we can start messing about with its capabilities.

On top of all this, it's only about 4" thick and takes up very little space. A "no-bad-spot"!

Great news, we treated ourselves to a new one too.

Is Mrs Snorri watching "Bridges of Madison County"? I started watching it but I have seen it so many times and read the book I decided to come 'puting instead

Far too new for her!! "Miracle on 34th Street" (the old B&W version)!

For testing the DVD player, I've got "Homeward Bound:the Incredible Journey", which I haven't watched yet (saw the original years ago).
