Best vacum cleaner?

The time has come for us to invest in a really super, dooper vacuum cleaner.

We've had cheap ones (under £50) for years now and they are just not up to scratch. Our current one puffs dust out the back, has crap suction and needs the cylinder and filter changing after every room!! I've had a enough *achooo*

So, what, Dogsey people is the best vacuum cleaner?

I need excellent suction, allergy dust filtration and pet hair removal.

La Pidge x

But with dogs in the house they are a must . I am on my second one now and would never be without one . Ours is an upright but it has all the tools and is just fantastic ( good for the car too )
Shop around there may be bargains to be had

I have a Dyson and a Miele Cat and Dog and the Miele is by far the best. The dyson is ok but is much heavier, awkward and doesn't get the edges and corners without using the tools wheras the Miele is light easy to manouver and takes every last hair up to the edge effortlessly.

We've got a Miele cat and dog after it being recommended to us by a friend. It's great but was £200! I would highly recommend it though.

We went for the Bosch. There are two lines Green (For DIY and households) and Blue for industrial.

In the end we went for the Blue GAS25 model which has a device which shakes the filter (So it never gets blocked)

Well worth the money I think.
