I have a HP Pavilion laptop. Very quick and have had no problems with it.

I bought a Dell and am extremely happy with it. It's about a year old now and still great. No problems with it at all. Would recommend that anything you buy, pay the extra to upgrade the battery. I get nearly 5 hours with my battery and it's great. Was only a few quid extra. Check out Dell's website and choose from there. If you need any help just shout!
