2002 2ltr GLS Silver Subaru Impretza
4 wheel drive 50,000 miles. M.O.T till Dec and tax till end of May (any further details required p.m me and i'll ask the hubby) what i know about cars you could put on a postage stamp.

I dont know what the best make is Losos, we're not looking at anything fancy, we dont want a VW from the 70's or a project but will consider pretty much anything else. We'd also look at a van that had been converted as many of them have been done excellent.

I take it you're fully up to speed with problems on the FIAT Ducato

My thoughts are either a low mileage Renault Master or VW T5 and get it converted to suit my somewhat special needs

I am also looking at secondhand too in MMM mostly.

No i'm not up to speed on the Fiat Ducato or any of them really. Ive looked around for campervan forums but cant actually find one that has many posts in it, any recomendations?
We have a few friends who are mechanics so one of them would be coming to view anything we had any interest in so we dont make a stupid choice.

Here's the one that I mostly use :-
http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/

and this one is linked in with MMM magazine
http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/for...egory-view.asp

The problem with the FIAT is that the reverse gear is too high and when reversing up a slope there is a strong tendancy to burn out the clutch

ETA:-
Looks like the 'system' has not allowed these links
