Daily Thread, Sunday, 19th August.

Good morning everyone. Another bad night. I have run out of some of my tablets and am hoping they will turn up tomorrow.

Hope you are and your four legged friends are all in fine fettle.

Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless.

Chris, my mum is 60... apparently been through the menopause, I have told my dad to get a divorce and go be happy....never thought I would tell him to do that but he is so unhappy, I have had enough of it

Good morning Moyra, Griff and all who follow

Hope our tablets arrive tomorrow Moyra so you can have a good night sleep

Hope things improve at home for you today Griff

Hope your daughter managed to enjoy the air display Brenda.

Very nice bungalow Lynn and nothing needs doing except what you want to add or do. Hope it all works out for you.

Quite nice here today warm with sunny periods. Took Teazle across the fields that are a building site. They don't seem to care that they have to keep footpaths open. Managed to pick about 1lb of blackberries but most of the bushes have been bulldozed up

Hope all tow and four legged are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

That is terrible Sue it is wicked to bulldoze up all the bushes.

I have just come back from walking Amber and find I am desperately short of some of my other tablets, so I hope they will come tomorrow. Have taken those that I can.

Good morning all.

Moyra, have you tried telling your doctor about the problem of running out before your next prescription arrives. I did that when my lad started on his epilepsy meds and the doctor prescribed an extra month's worth so that we are always a month up front.

With ours, we wait to take any extras that they add on until the next months is due so that we are the same and always have meds on hand.

I'd give your chemist a ring and tell them you are out to see if they can sort out today for you.

I hope you start feeling a little better today. There's nothing worse than having a bad night x

Unfortunately my chemist is only a small concern and does not open on weekends or Bank holidays either. So will just have to hope they come tomorrow.

My chemist is the same Moyra, attached to the Dr and only open Monday to Friday, Ido prefer the independent chemist though, he is very good and very helpful and knows us all well.
Sue, I hate how things just get ripped up and built on, jaguar land rover have kicked s farmer off his family farm here, destroyed beautiful green fields and it's disgusting.
I am sooooooo bored, currently in my bedroom as I got fed up biting my tongue with my mum. Will take the dogs out in a bit

Does your mum take HRT Kelly? I know a few who swear by it to help calm moods after the menopause.

They've ripped up a small field here right in the centre of town to build a 5 storey Premier Inn. There were a lot of objections to it, but, as usual, the folk who live here aren't listened to.

Evening everyone.
griff I was like Chris wondering if mum is going through the change ? Mine took 11 years and I will admit they were the worst 11 years of my life. Started at 39 by 40 in full swing and finished at 51. I hated getting to 40 so depressed achy and mood swings.
Got to 50 almost out the other side alongside some worrying women's problems till then and all of a sudden everything changed.
Not saying I don't get moody now I do especially when stressed but it's not depression it's frustration at life sometimes.
So mum could be coming out the other side possibly.

Glad you all like the bungalow had a wobble this morning no storage. Also the conservatory would enclose the kitchen window. So we were kind of re-thinking and then I thought what about a log cabin ? Michael visits maybe 3 times a year and sometimes Maca is with him. We could heat it put lights in and buy a really nice sofa bed and they could either sleep in there or the bungalow their choice and the 2nd bedroom could be the dining room.
The log cabin could also double up as an outside tucked away in the colder weather watching the birds or being outside but inside if you get my meaning.
Then the narrow end of the living room could house the desk so Gorden had a workspace when working from home and we could put a sofa opposite the patio door which we might have changed to french type doors and sort of bring the outside in that way to.
We would love for this one to work due to the walking to the station for Gorden and the park next door for stolling with Dillon no more pavement pounding for his sore joints.
Plus it's situated pretty central for Mark and Lauren and brother.
It is also becoming an expensive town to live in so if we can get a property there it would be worth it.
Plus I love the idea of cooking and socialising to which that kitchen allows.
