I have some remmington ceramic ones which were about £20 to £30 and they have been great. They last lasted over 18 months already and they are up to temp within 60seconds. I love remmington ones and just cant justify the money for GHDs as they really arent any better! (my friend has some) x

Thanks everyone i asked because ive got remington one's and nicky clarke one's but would love a pair of GHD's as the majority of people swear down by them but a few people i know or have come across say there not worth it. Thanks for all of the comments been a big help xx

GHDs are the best ones I've had by far.

Mind you, the 2nd best pair cost £7.99 from Tesco!! My GHDs broke and I bought them to tide me over until I could get the GHDs repaired and they are fab! Not just as good as GHDs, of course, but a very close 2nd....way better than some of the ones I have bought in the past for much more that claim to be as good as GHDs.
