Only an Open, but a first all the same!

Just about got Isla looking respectable, can't help feeling that I'm about to be fed to the Lions though???

So any tips anyone???

ANYTHING would be helpful, seriously!

I know nothing at all about showing.... But I reckon if ya relax, enjoy and expect nothing but a fun time... then you'll be pleasantly surprised. You've got a gorgeous dog and I'm sure you'll not be the only first timer there. Good luck yo ya

I was sooooooo nervous for my first show and that was just a limit! But just remember to have fun (at least look like you're enjoying it!!) and you'll be fine!!

I would agree with Ian and Jessica relax and enjoy it because if you tense up it will come down the lead to the dog. Go and have a good time and if you win something its a bonus and if you don't you are still taking home what to you is the best dog We all had to have a first time. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Make sure you get there in plenty of time so you can prepare yourself, its also good to be able to watch others in the ring with their dogs and the judge prior to going in,baby wipes come in handy if its a wet day or muddy in the carpark !!!! so you can give their feet a quick wipe.
Enjoy it,have fun and good luck,i'm sure you'll have a great time,

i always pop a peppermint before going in the ring makes me concentrate on the sweetie and nerves tend not to travel down the lead, works for me anyway,, but just remember to enjoy if you can
best of luck

Thanks all, feeling better already!

Getting there in plenty of time, definitely something I need to do on Sunday. And not something I'm prone to in my lifetime!

Number clip and treats! A must, I'll write that one down!

Peppermints? I like that one, I'll make sure I've got some Mint Imperials to hand on the day. I like my food!

Oh yes, relax and have fun! I'll try that one too!

Thanks all!
