Wet am Wednesday 8th November 2023

Morning all. Yep it is wet and windy here this morning but they say it will get better by this afternoon. Maybe the walk will have to wait. Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning Brenda and Kazz

Hope you both have a good day whatever you do

Morning school run done. All and sundry on the roads so took ages to do a 10 minute run to school. Road works Last night taking Maria home went the normal way only to find part of the road closed, no notices until you got there. Diversion would take us goodness knows where so turned round and went the way I know only to come out not far from home. I went that way to avoid the roadworks only to do 10-15mile uneccessarily. Goodness knows what the next two weeks will bring with the main road closed completely. Rant over.

Take care everyone

Sue that soiunds like my sisters detour yesterday hence that being part 1 reason we were going to be cutting it tight for the hospital appointment, roadworks and deturs that appear just like "pop up restaurants"

Had phone call from garage it seems the battery is dead he is replacing that and to be honest its been with the car since snew so 7 years a good span of time and more than likely does need replacing I only do short trips as well. He is going to check the battery earth cable and give the connections a clean up as well but says that is in not the problem, Hey ho these things are sent to be resolved.

Yes Brenda I agree we are all Habile (able/skilful)

Good afternoon all

Wet and windy so out in the car today

Butchers tripe - yeh, he eats it. I've tried all sorts of Butchers and he wouldn't touch it, but the tripe is a winner. So it was off to Tesco after breakfast to stock up and, of course, they only had four tins in stock

The laser treatment is booked for the 8th of February. The first appointment in next year's diary

Still waiting (over three months now) to hear about the respiratory appointment

Very quiet here now that the vast majority of caravan parks have closed. Bit busier when the sun shines and the dog walkers come out, but that will lessen as the weather gets colder

Just had some worrying news from my best friend Margaret. She has to go for a follow up after mammogram.

Brenda, good thoughts for Margaret and hoping it's a cyst.
Chris, lol.... hope his butt doesn't stink too much with the tripe, Molly has it and it makes me wretch cleaning up after her, mind..... she's a very big dog and Ted's only small
Sue, roadworks are a nightmare and never well advertised
Kazz, hope the new battery does the trick, I am surprised the garage are saying it wants replacing if the AA gave it the all clear.
My new tile cutter finally arrived today, I am praying for no rain tomorrow so I can use it outside....I only have about 6 tiles to do
