Wet? Wednesday 27th July 2022

Morning all. Hope all appointments went well for everyone that had them. I have a flat inspection today. Must ask why they do them? Looks like we might get some wet stuff down here today. We certainly could do with some. Have a good day all.

Good morning all

The flat inspection is to make sure you haven't been having wild orgies and wrecking the place Brenda

Just the Tesco delivery to look forward to this afternoon. Other than that, our same old, same old

Hope everyone's OK. Enjoy the day x

Lol... Brenda, to ensure you aren't a drug baron with a cannabis grow. Seriously, it's just to ensure the place is clean and in good order and that there's no issues with the fabric of the flat.
Chris, sounds like you had quite the day yesterday, hopefully today is quieter for you.

Well a nice lady came and asked about dents in carpet where something with legs had obviously been for a long while. I said they were there before I came. It's fortunate that things are inventoried before I took over. Why don't they check these things before they come? Then she asked about alarms and I said they had just been replaced on Friday. She still had to test them. Ah well over for another 6 months. Still no rain here.

Brenda, ice cubes in the dents should enable the pile to be lifted.... Google it

I hadn't done that yet. Not sure if they would do the trick as they are quite pressed in and I haven't got an ice cube tray anymore. I will ask my friend Margaret when she gets back from holiday. Thanks for the thought.

Good afternoon everyone I hope everyone and families and four legged friends are well.
Wow still busy busy busy, tomorrow is our last day looking after Freya for two weeks as Mark and Lauren are on holiday.
We will be going to her Birthday party on the 7th August though but her actual Birthday is Friday the 5th.
Where has that year gone, so much has happened.
We popped into Ely today to the toy shop to buy her presents we had great fun pressing all the buttons.

Not sure if I mentioned we are on two puppy waiting lists but something kept niggling at me and yesterday I rang the Bernese welfare rescue co-ordinator and we are also on their books. I would love another bundle of naughtiness and know I would have fun training again but this niggle about a rescue just kept niggling away.
So we will see. All options covered though for another bundle of Bernese in some shape or form in the not to distant future.

We have Betsy the Bernese coming on the 12th till the 28th so we will be taking it in turns when we start back with Freya again. I have given Gorden a refresher course in nappy changing.

Glad the inspection went well brenda.

Keep safe and well everyone.

Had a lovely morning up on the prom. The weather is lovely just now

Had an argument about sheds (of all things) this afternoon. I'm sure Dave is going loopy

Tesco coming between 8 and 9 pm. Why we usually drop for late deliveries is beyond me. That means Corrie will be gone but not forgotten I suppose
