That sounds like the state our place was in when we bought it, even the manhole covers were stolen!

When I lived in Newcastle the Council tried to sell some houses that had been gutted in the riots for £1. TBH I wouldn`t have touched them either.
The houses aren`t ruined because they`re old - but because local yoofs have vandalised them. Would you want your family to be the next target?
