I love western riding.

I accidentally trained my Appy boy western, he was excellent at it, very quickly at switching between Western and English riding. Due to an old tendon injury we didn't peruse reining comps.

Lovely girl I was told that Appalloosas are also used for endurance riding.

Oooh I'm liking this thread, always loved Horses! Western riding does look more fun and relaxed than English, not that I know much about it. I wish I could go riding regularly - or just have my own horse!

I am so envious! I would love to have another go but unfortunately back troubles mean that it's out of the question..........I did have a lesson some years ago, and spent a great deal of time going backwards, and it wasn't deliberate!
