Little things that make you smile

Bella our grey will have been with us a year next month and it has taken until the last couple of week for her to enjoy playing with a ball. Tom my lurcher has always loved his ball but Bella just tended to watch on the sidelines.

Last week , she started chasing after Tom with his football and then started batting it about and now theres no stopping her she has her own smaller ball which she will fetch, return and wait for it to be thrown again and if Toms not quick enough pinch his and run off with it !.

Its only a little thing but to see a retired grey have normal doggy fun is just fab !

I think that's lovely, you have done so well with both your doggies

It's Pepsi's dainty feet that make me smile It is so long since I had a small dog, I'm used to big clumsy feet.
She lets me play with them, I call them lickle pussy cat tootsies
Gawd, I'm sad

its great watching dogs having fun, i love it when ty plays dumb, he has such a cheeky face that even if you have asked him to do something that he knows (like sit, or give me the ball) and he just stares at you, its very difficult not to laugh at him.

xeva i smile when she takes one of her mad turns then goes on her back for a tummy rub, she gets this grin on her face as if to say and you know thats what you should be doing

That's lovely, she sounds more like a 'normal' dog every time!
For me, a little thing (but big I guess really) that I enjoy watching Axel do, is mooch along on the canal or in a park and just enjoy the simple freedom. I enjoy watching him greet other dogs politely and without intervention and tearing around in full bliss

Little things I love:
Watching her roll around on her back over a smell
When she goes zoomies - its not very often so very cute when she does
Watching her jump and splash in water
Her little sleepy eyes when they are closing but trying not to!

TomtheLurcher - Sounds like you have done a great job will Bella
