More of Anton's Adventures (GSD)

Modelling his lovely bandana.

Sunbathing

Trying on the new chest strap on his harness...

Playing fetch at the beach (yes, that is a torch on his harness - comes in handy on the routes we sometimes walk at night and it's too hard to remove and put on everyday, so it gets left there for this part of the year. )

And then he had to lay down in the water.

Soggy belly fur. D: (No idea what I'm doing in the background. )

And trying out some agility with some instruction from my OH (I thought it would be a good bonding exercise for the two of them. )

What great pics. Love the Julius K9 harness with torch Nothing like getting the dog to carry his own gear

Anton is such a good looking dog - really enjoyed the pics.

Love his long furry tail! Is he named after Anton Du Beke the dancer? Is he light on his feet?

Thanks! I just had to make use of the little torch attachment bit on the harness - I do get some odd looks on daytime walks, though.

Thanks! Chunky is a good way of describing him - his build is really quite different to most German Shepherds I meet, bless him.

Thanks! It's great, isn't it? Once had a young child insisting that Anton was a fox to his mum. Haha, dancer?! He's got all the grace of a plank of wood and plods like a cart horse. Anton was the name he had at the rescue, we quite liked it, so decided not to change it - however, I sometimes tell people he's named after the Satanist Anton LaVey, as he can be a total monster.
