Mercedes The Polar Bear has gone to the Bridge

Poor Mercedes has been PTS after deteriorating
At least the last while of her life was in a far better enclosure than she had at Edinburgh Zoo.

Very sad. We were planning a trip up to visit her in a few months. From the videos online she looked much happier at the wildlife park.
