photography project

hey all, one of my photography projects at school is to create a surreal landscape using photoshop.
here is my brief..


advertising uses digital manipulation extensively. it enables the advertiser to create a perfect world or make the impossible possible by combining a number of beautiful images together to produce one idyllic picture. using found images from a number of sources produce a surreal landscape.

look at the following artists for inspiration .. toname a few ... Rene Magritte,Paul Nash, salvador dali, jean miro etc etc.

anywayyy,,, this is what ive come up with as a starting idea, let me know wot u honestly think, i need u to be critical so that i can improve on the idea.

basically, the boy is looking in the mirror, which he finds is showing his back, and not his front like it shud be, and also its reflecting through, which is why u can see the background thru the mirror. and also, hes standing in the water as tho its shallow rather than deep like the ocean shud be.

If I was assessing your work I would say it shows a excellent understand of the abilities of the software and an good imagination and total understanding of the project set you. Well done.
