Halibut the Cat. RIP 26/07/07

Halibut was such a lovely cat, a real hunter in his youth but so gentle around people. Everyone who met him loved him, even my MIL who has been terrified of cats since being attacked as a child

I'm not sure exactly how old he was - he'd been with me over 15 years and wasn't a kitten when I got him, so probably about 17. I started thinking he would be with me forever, but over the last 3 weeks his health went down hill really quickly and this evening the vet confirmed that it was the right decision for him to be pts.

Hunt well wherever you are Halibut - you gave me so much pleasure particularly during some very lonely spells in my life and I'll really miss you.

So sorry you lost your lovely Halibut. They dont stay with us long enough but Im sure where he is now will give you as much comfort as the times he sat purring on your lap.
