Tia - 2 year old female Staffie Cross
Tia, Staffie x, DOB 08.11 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Tia needs an understanding family who accepts that her reticence and fear of people comes from an abusive past which she is learning to leave behind. Tia is gentle with children and welcomes other dogs once introduced. Tia needs a secure garden, exit management and can be left.

Her Story: Tia grew up with another Staffie and very young children. Her male owner was abusive to her and she was kept for long periods in a crate more for her protection. Tia came to us a very scared dog but has now found her confidence and is a favourite to all. She enjoys weekend breaks in with another dog and children. Tia is neutered, chipped and vax'd.
Advert: Tia is emerging as a skilled and gentle dog, despite her current kennel existence. She still shows concern when meeting strangers, but soon trusts, relaxes and enjoys company. She is enjoying her walks and meets dogs well whilst on the lead. She has good recall off lead but is not ready for this outside her garden area. Tia really loves children. Her housetraining is evident in weekend fostering and she seems to have emerged as a skilled and sensitive sweetheart.
Tia is just 18 months old. She has a beautiful mink coat with white chest and toe tips. She has a scar on her nose where she was muzzled outside but a muzzle isn't necessary as she meets dogs well and enjoys their company. Tia has transformed in the 3 months she has been in our care, she is dearly loved by all.
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
