one of mine started when he was around 8 or 9 months.

but the other one is now almost 12 months and has never "cocked his leg" i wish he would soon though as when he wees it gets all over his feet.

I recently posted same thread and was amazed to learn some never do, really did not realise that, mine now 10 months old and no intention od cocking his leg however the bitch same age seems keener as I place him by lamposts its she who takes most interest!!!!!

bruno is 5 and rarely does it - he will only do it if on a really exciting walk and he wants to spread his smell everywhere.

but normal walks , park etc - he just squats like a wee girl !!

Just an update for you all ...

Greg cocked his leg for the first time yesterday!
I hate it already! He pee'd up every tree in the park today, its just horrid! I want him to go back to squating like a cute little puppy again

toby was 13/14 months didn't think he ever would but give him a tree and its like magic.
only thing to watch is your foot isn't in the way

Hes only 7 months! far too young to grow up ! I want him to be a puppy again..... Still love him just as much though!

Well both are 8 months and Archie has done it since I have had him, Harvey however did it for the first time today!!!!!!!!
