Nearly had heart failure there, what u mean "not like a real rottie" thought they were casting aspersions on his general appearence.

Seems like he is like his Rottalma family a great big softee

Well Done Marius

Lol good old Marius
It's the soft looking face that endears Rotts to me, they all look like teddy bears

I love it when a dog of a certain breed changes peoples opinions on the breed.

I am very wary of Dobes for some unknown reason, but there is one that comes on our walk and she is the most placid, beautifully behaved Dobe, and I absolutely adore her.

Aww well done to both of you.

I kind of have a confessin to make in that I am very nervous of rotties. I know it is daft and common sence calls me a wuss but it is one of those irrational fears.

The funny thing is is that my sister used to have a rottie x dobermann (another of my irrational fears!) and he was lovely. I used to cuddle up with him and allsorts so I know I am nuts.

I think I just need to meet some nice rotties and thier nice people to sort me out

Sorry is any offence is caused, it isnt meant that way.

No offence at all, I totally understand why people are scared of them. My sister in law was like you, now she sits with them on her lap when she visits

I love being able to 'convert' people, it really makes my day

I've never met a Rott that isn't soft as s***e!

There's quite a few round here that play with our lot regularly, there doesn't seem to be much prejudice against them around here.
