The lights switch on

There switching on the lights in our little town tonight

There is the parade escorting the big fat guy in the red suit to the town hall,our daughter is part of the parade and marching behind with the cadets.

I'm going down with Tom to watch the parade etc,should be good fun even though it's cold

Luke said he's too old for this sort of stuff and anyway he wants to watch the footy with his Dad

Dont forget your camera We used to have a Sleigh and the big fat guy done by the Rotary Club. But they stopped it beacuse, yobs, once again, ruined it for the rest of us. They would lob stones and eggs at him Ba...rds.

we went to a christmas fair today. a friend of ours had a stall there. had a great time spent loads of money LOL
took a couple of pics, but now home slowly warming up.

It's always nice to see isn't it, makes you feel more festive.

I love it, we live on a small estate and every year they bring a huge sleigh with Santa on ringing a bell and playing Chritmas carols, they then go door-to-door with collection buckets for charity. I don't know who's more excited about it, the kids on the estate or me!!!

that sounds really nice. we live on the edge of town so miss out . any way if they tried a collection around here they would get robbed by the chavs nice eh??

Same here, we lived right at the end of a small cul-de-sac in Old Harraby, Carlisle. Every year they used to come right down and then spend about 20 mind trying to get turned round to get out
