KC Affixes

I'm sure there is a list of affixes on the KC website somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

There's a list of recently approved kennel names on the KC website & you can use this link to see if the kennel name is already being used. if you put a name in the 2nd box including the kennel name you want it will tell you if the kennel name is current.

Try using my Kennel Name Rayre as part of the dogs name & you will get a message saying that it's a current kennel name

The problem with that link is it will only bring up conflicts in the same breed.

If you use your kennel name with say boxers it says its fine when if you tried to register it it wouldnt be so its a bit misleading i think.

@ Anne....

I honestly haven't.....yet.

I am not really sure that it is worth the extra money for just one litter....

Er, no it covers all breeds. If you put the name in as per the instructions i.e. if you don't own the kennel name the full name wanted should be put in the second box & nothing in the 1st box.

Instructions

* If you have a Kennel Name registered with the Kennel Club, please enter it in the first box and the remainder of the dog’s name you would like to check in the second box. What is a Kennel Name?
* If you are not a Kennel Name holder, please enter the complete name you would like to check in the second box and select the search button
I've just done that for affenpinschers & boxers with my kennel name & it came up with the message

Searching names in Affenpinscher
Search result for Rayre Ace's High
The following problems were found

* 'Rayre' is an active Kennel Name
