Doctors x 2

just spent the whole day with youngest son and going to medical appointments. he had a school medical this morning - that was fun as caught up with a doctor that hadnt seen dan for ages. she was amazed at the changes in him both physically and behaviourally. this afternoon was spent at the local hospital seeing a neurologist about his underlying gentic condition that can be potentially life threatening. (extremely high risk or cancers/tumours on any part of his body). he then needed a blood test taken to test for numerous things. so we are now exhausted and relieved that at the moment he needs no more tests (possibility of another mri scan at some point due to change in his hearing) and we have not got another appointment for him until 24/5/06 when he is due to see the consultant about his medications for his adhd two whole weeks of freedon

ive done this with dan for 14.5 years and martin has done it for a couple of yrs but it is tough espicially when you have to hold him down for sedations and blood tests ect and see the fear he has. but no one said being a mum is easy.
