having both fruit cake and sponge - we did similar - but didn't think to do it as different tiers!. Our sponge cake was marked out as a basketball court since that's how we met

Well done, that looks great!

I think it's so much nicer to see something you've put the effort into yourself rather than always buying them.

I also made my wedding cake and felt so proud! It was a lot simpler than yours though - I'd be telling everyone if I was you!!!!
