Avishag is 22 now so was 20 in those photos - she did not do Army service as she is very Orthodox so did what is called "Sherut Leumi" - helping in schools and/or hospitals or in the community instead, and only started university when she had finished that.

Pereg was so small in those photos compared with now, and poor Little One could not wait to get away - she died just over 5 months later and looking at the pictures of her around that time she was really beginning to show her age. They both had their ropes clipped on as the front door was open - Little One was an escape merchant and would get through a 5cm gap if she had the chance.

Pereg went out very happily when Avishag came to collect her - they did not stay out long this time as it was the first time but at least she was happy to go out and did not even look back, and will be taken out whenever studies permit it.
