Artificial Grass

Hi, We are considering getting artificial grass fitted as our garden is so muddy. Has anyone here had this done and if so is it as good as it claims to be, also has anyone any pics of their fake lawns? I realise there are different qualities of the grass and we are looking at some from the grass company which is not the cheapest but I have been told the cheaper stuff is not very good, would appreciate any opinions

Are you pleased with it though and do you find it ok with the dogs?

We love it. We put it down last year and haven't looked back. To stop any smells in the warm weather, I watered it with a watering can of water and zoflora when the dogs had been out for their last widdle of the night, twice a week.

It's not cheap but at least our back garden isn't a mud bath anymore.

My daughter had artificial grass put in a few months back and she has two dogs. When they wee it just goes straight threw no problems. I have paving stones in my back and every day have to hose it down as otherwise it starts smelling. Its easy to pick up dog poo. The only problem she had was they didn,t peg it down properly on some edges and the dogs have damaged it a little by digging at it. It looks nice and neat and from a distance looks real, and it solves the muddy problems and its always green.

We absolutely love ours, have odd problems with smells and have used all sorts of disinfectants and biological powders, but still prefer it to real grass.

It wasnt cheap and we have got the best quality that they had, our dogs have not tried to dig it up, but they arent big diggers anyway.

if you search through for some of my photos you should be able to see it.
