Boiled chicken works just as well as white fish, just remove the bones when its cooked & cooled. And use the water you`ve boiled chicken or fish in to cook the rice with

How did he go during the night?

Thanks for that Christine, will remember that one.

He's been fine over night, did absolutely nothing?

In fact he hasn't done anything since the day before yesterday, but then I suppose last night was the first time he's had anything to eat since then too.

Seems perfectly happy, (apart from the fact he's only getting small amounts of food, still getting evils ) even wanted to go for a swim this morning!

So hopefully that might be it, I'll see what happens on his walk tonight and if he doesn't do anything or it's still unpleasant then it's off to the vets I'm afraid.

Thankfully he loves the vets, so I'll have no problem getting him there.

Thanks for the advice everyone, knew if I asked on here there'd be people who know what they're talking about!

You can use slippery elm to ease the symptoms as well as giving white rice & fish/chicken

A cavalier with gastric problems is not a pretty sight

Thanks, I'll remember that. Know what you mean,I'm just thankful that Pickles is small enough to go in the sink, if he was Woody's size I think I'd just have him shaved!
