How soon after 2nd jabs can a puppy go out?

she is booked in for them 30th jan cant wait to get her out walking with her big bro lol and off to puppy classes xxx

What did the vet say? I take mine out before they even get their first ones.

Mine said 7-10 days after his second jab but I took him out before the 7th day.

Mine went for their first (very short!) walk on the day they had their second vaccination.

This is what vets typically say but I think socialization in that period is more important than anything. If you are sensible about where you take the pup, it shouldn't be an issue.

I think mine just about made it to the end of my road on their first 'proper' lead walk.

We were told 1o days after 2nd jab.

Dillon went out on his first walk today.

Rosie has been down from the start. At first only for a minute or so and increasing as we went. The first couple of weeks was no more than a few steps and a wee with the rest of the time carried as it took time for her to get used to the lead.

She's 17 weeks now and walking between 15-20 mins on the lead and the rest of the time carried (yes, at the moment, she can be described as a handbag dog )

ETA: should have added that she had her first injection and very mini walk the day after we got her

Gosh i was nearly 14 years ago now! I think it was a week we were told to wait, but we used to take him onto the street on a lead to sniff a few trees and see cars for about 5 mins a day after his first.
