He he! I've seen that episode too. I loved 'marley and me' the book sooooo much. Lots and lots of tears though!

Hmmm.
Is it bad luck or poor ownership?

I didn't like the book as it did smack of poor ownership to me...BUT my son is loving the kid's version (which is better to be honest) and is eager to see the film.

I was really disappointed, was so chuffed when someone got it for me, but it irritated me.
I felt sorry for Marley.

I hated the book and felt sorry for the poor dog, but they did crack the problem with Gracie and the chickens and ducks eventually.

Why? they admitted their mistakes and deep down they loved the dog.

I saw that episode of CM a while back
and I was totaly disgusted the way CM used the duck to goad the dog - and even let him have a snap at it, then started stroking the dog with the duck - that dogs eyes just said 'as soon as that pssting man goes away I am eating the duck'

Havent read marley and me yet - dont think I am missing much based on what you are all saying
good that they admited a problem tho, shame they ended up with CM IMHO
