I've lost a jar of marmalade

I can't for the life of me find my very delicious jar of orange and ginger marmalade. I'm the only person in the house - I've looked everywhere but now thinking I must have thrown it out by mistake.

It was really good stuff that I treated myself to now that I'm living for the most part on my own. If the kids had been here I could've blamed them but now my mind's a blank as to where it went.

Do you think this is the first sign of madness

Hmmm now there's a distinct possibility he sneaked into my bag at Paddington Station when I was in London last week! I never thought of that!!!!

I'm going to London again tomorrow so I'll have a look for him and see if he's got it.

OMG I really am going mad

Me neither, she's long past the first sign

I think things kind of slip out of tune with this dimension, a bit like radios sometimes tune out of the station you're listening to. It may well be in the same place as all Bongo's toys and most of my socks...
