My rat is sitting next to me... About to leave us..

Checked in on my old ladies.

I have mentioned them before, my rattie girls, sisters. Must be at least 2 and half, more like 3 years old now.

Mish was dead And Boo was huddled up all fluffy, not moving... but breathing..

They have been deteriorating over the past few months, their colour completely faded from them, and becoming quite skinny...

They were lively though, so a bit sudden to look to today and see they are at the end. Both together...

I have taken Boo out of her cage, and put her in a small box lined with tissue... She is breathing, and that's it.

I'll have her next to me now till she goes

Such a shame.... Little Old Ladies...

x

Thanks... I don't feel devastated... I knew this day was coming in a matter of days/weeks/months??

Just sad.. I don't think Boo will be here much longer... If she is still like this in a few hours, I'll take her to the vets.........

She's not in distress I don't think...

So sad. I think you are right - if Boo is the same later take her to the vet.
