Help Identifying Dog Breed (curiosity)

Hey guys,

New to the forum. First and foremost, happy new year to everyone!

It's about to be one year since I've adopted Nina (pictures attached) and I've always been curious about her breed.

Based on previous topics, it seems like forum goers get pretty riled up about these topics because "does it really matter what breed your dog is." I understand that but we're curious people. We still want to know!

After plenty of research, I've come to the conclusion that she's most similar to a Plott Hound, maybe some terrier as well. I just wonder what the rest of the dog community thinks!

Regardless, I think we can all agree on one thing: she's a beautiful dog! Knowing her breed won't change the love I have for her but please, GUESS AWAY!

Adrian

Crossbreeds can be so wildly different it's a fairly pointless discussion. What it looks like may not be close to what it is and everyone just lists breeds they are familiar with but not to the point they can really spot markers. Best you can usually get is a breed group or influence from an area of the world that shows up the most.

It looks very similar to a Catahoula Hound, although definitely a mix.
