The Power Stare

Check out Monty's power stare from last night and may I add he sat like that staring for a good 5-10 minutes!

Doesn't he look hard done by and neglected?!?

This face led me to the conclusion that he is far more intelligent than he looks! Last night the OH cooked us steak for tea, he also picked up some naturally smoked haddock in the reduced to clear for Monty. So Monty had his eye on the steak but had also noted that the haddock had been put into the oven.

The face above appeared after we had both finished our steaks and put our empty plates down so i reckon he thought "there's no way they'll have the fish as well so i reckon i've got a good chance of scoring that if i stare long enough". And needless to say it worked!!

We're thinking of signing him up to do next year's RSPCA ads!!

Hahaa I know this stare well - except with spaniel and terrier eyes it looks worse!

And Tia - my friends Staffie/boxer also does it if she's told to go in the corner when she's done something naughty Hahaa!

Bless him - Esme - you need to cuddle him more!

Ah bless him.
He does look so different with his new look head. Did you find it strange or get used to it pretty quick ?

xx

It was a bit odd to start with but mainly because they shaved the whole of the top of his head, his ears and his neck but after we'd gotten used to that it was pretty easy to get used to the change as a whole. I think because it was on overall benefit to him that made it easier instead of it being a negative operation.
