week old puppie with runny nose...

sky is 7 days old tomorrow , just been to give her , her last thing at night check and noticed her nose was running both sides ... is this something to worry about? any advice would be helpful

Hi Julie when you say running what colour/how much/does she sound snuffly/feel hot?

hi minihaha, the nose is running from both sides of the nostrils , its clear in colour sky dosnt seem to be snufferling or feels any hotter than normal ... infact she is feeding at the moment and not making any other noises only the usual sucking sound

Hi Julie it is normal for puppies to have a moist nose and sometimes it can look quite wet if Sky is not snuffly/is eating/not wheezy/not hot/not crying she should be ok however..if she is any of these things or you are at all concerned please contact the vet .

Millies Mum .. has Sky been sneezing...I wonder if it could be a bit of irritation maybe pollen...see how it is in the morning..

just checked sky over this morning, and her runny nose seems to have cleared up i will howeve keep my eye on it

Hi Milliesmum thats good,the nose can get a bit wetter than usual when dogs get excited (I guess they are breathing faster) not sure if this applies to puppies..could have been slight allergy problem .
